Urban lungs of light - Katowice railway tracks

The project is a proposal to use the energy of trains passing through the city to illuminate public places, including: stations, underground passages, crossings under the tracks, and spaces adjacent to railway areas. Passing trains produce energy which, collected e.g. using piezoelectrics and transmitted to LED panels placed along or under the tracks, increases the intensity of their light.
