Piece – A set of school furniture intended for self-assembly.

A set of school furniture intended for children aged 6-9 to assemble and arrange their own space with the participation of their guardians. The basic set consists of a seat, table and shelf. The elements are made of plywood connected with cable ties. Both the type, number of elements and arrangement of equipment depend on the children's decisions. The elements and method of connection enable the construction of furniture or toys.

The main idea of ​​the project is to actively involve children in deciding on the shape of their surroundings. Students become familiar with the properties of materials and the construction of furniture and become users of complex objects themselves. The project is an invitation to discover objects "anew". The aim of such activities, in addition to activation, cooperation and integration, is to encourage a critical look at the environment, which we can influence not only by decorating it, as before, but also by constructing it.
