Thonet-mundus bent furniture - a technology from the 19th century still used today.
At the beginning of the 19th century, the German carpenter Michael Thonet began to produce bent furniture made of beech wood treated with hot steam. Based on this technology, a factory was built in Buczkowice in 1873. In the 1920s, it was already the world-famous concern "Thonet-Mundus". Furniture designs designed then are still produced today.
