Eo – reusable torch

Eo is a reusable torch inspired by the role that fire played in ancient rituals honoring the dead. It is a double-walled stoneware vessel in which a piece of fuel is ignited; the transience of this gesture combined with the durability of the product itself responds both to the environmental problem and to the need for a more personal contact with the deceased through light and warmth.
