DROPLET - Waterer for birds and insects

Ceramic birdbath dedicated to parks and squares. When creating the object, the increasing global warming and the most important need of birds living in the city, which turned out to be access to drinking water, were taken into account. Through subtle recesses in the form, the design also serves as a waterer for insects, which are often overlooked inhabitants of parks and squares. Many insect waterers are poorly adapted and prevent them from drinking. The presented waterer allows insects to quench their thirst without falling into the water. In order not to take up space, the target location of the object is a tree. Thanks to the use of webbing straps, it fits on any trunk. Fastening to the webbing straps also makes it easier to remove and put on the waterer to change the water or clean it. The waterer is a combination of craftsmanship and technology, the form was modeled in a 3D program, then printed on a 3D printer in PLA technology, thanks to these activities, it was possible to make a plaster form from which it can be cast in the target material - stoneware casting mass, in a natural color. The final step is to burn the form in a ceramic kiln.
