The exhibition is a historical study presented through a series of large-format artistic fabrics. The exhibition focuses on figures fundamental to the history of gliding in Bielsko-Biała – designers, pilots, instructors, and engineers – and key events related to them. Each object, based on archival sources, functions as a standalone visual narrative.
The project combines documentary methodology with artistic interpretation. The historical value of archival photography is translated into the medium of textiles, creating a space dedicated to memory and scholarly reflection on the achievements of the Bielsko-Biała Center.
The exhibition's spatial arrangement, designed as an open installation in the hangar of the Bielsko-Biała Aeroclub, capitalizes on the unique character of the site. Fabrics suspended throughout the space create an immersive landscape in which history is communicated through the interplay of image, changing lighting, and natural air movement, fostering an in-depth analysis of the presented content.
